Jim Dager, DVM
Medical Director
Level Two Fear-Free Certified
Dr. Jim Dager received his DVM from Kansas State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2010. Following graduation, he spent three years working in Texas as a mixed animal practitioner. As a Lincoln native, Dr. Dager is glad to be back living and working in Nebraska. He developed an early fondness for caring for animals, and this love pushed him to choose an occupation that allowed him daily interaction with animals in need. His professional interests include soft tissue surgery, diagnostic imaging including ultrasonography, and routine health care. In his free time, he enjoys collecting and restoring vintage video games, and old arcade and pinball machines. Dr. Dager also has a full house at home, consisting of a black lab named Maddie, a rambunctious Doberman Pinscher named Nova, 3 cats, 3 horses, and various barnyard animals including ducks and chickens. He also breeds and raises ball pythons, and has a variety of reptiles at home including sulcata tortoises, an Asian water monitor, leopard and crested geckos, and more! He looks forward to meeting you and your furry family members!
